Inclusive Teaching

Inclusive Teaching provides equal opportunities for all students to have successful learning experiences.
This includes treating students equitably, which is related to, yet distinct from, “equally.”

Content and course objectives are explicitly viewed from the multiple perspectives and varied experiences of a range of groups and help students understand how they construct knowledge in any field or discipline.

Inclusive Teaching makes a commitment to give students full access to learning, and the tools they need to succeed as well as making students feel welcomed, supported, and valued as they learn.
